[Last updated: 28 September 2015]

cPanel is a Linux based webhosting controlpanel, comparable to Plesk and DirectAdmin, which allows a server administrator to set up new websites, reseller accounts, e-mail accounts, and DNS entries through a web-based interface. In this tutorial, we will install and configure cPanel on a CentOS, Debian or Ubuntu cloud server. Execute all commands as root.

Step 1: Start cPanel installer

Step 2: Wait +-60 minutes..

When the cPanel installer is finished (this can take a while), go to "https://your-server-ip-address:2087" in your browser and start! Login with username 'root' and root password.
